We helped Saft America launch its Xcelion® battery line globally with a cohesive strategy, elevated visual identity, and targeted digital campaigns that drove strong engagement and qualified leads.

Saft America partnered with What Works Studio to introduce its Xcelion lithium-ion battery line to international markets across defense, aerospace, motorsports, industrial, and municipal sectors. The goal was to unify the brand’s message, sharpen its visual identity, and create a multichannel campaign capable of reaching high-value decision makers across regions and industries. Our team led a comprehensive effort that combined research, visual refinement, content creation, and targeted digital outreach to support a global product rollout with real market impact.

The work began with a strategic audit of Saft’s existing collateral, uncovering opportunities to create greater consistency across English and French markets. We refined key visual elements, standardized templates, and developed new tools to ensure a cohesive identity across all Xcelion assets. With this foundation in place, we launched a series of campaigns tailored to each priority sector, supported by geofencing, programmatic advertising, social media, and immersive visual content. Video production, tradeshow materials, and localized messaging extended the reach of the campaign, building credible visibility for Xcelion where industry leaders gather, research, and buy.

Our integrated approach enabled Saft to reach prospects around the world, compress production timelines, and generate meaningful pipeline activity. From targeted digital outreach to bilingual collateral and custom iconography, the launch established Xcelion as a versatile, high-performance solution across multiple industry verticals. The campaign also laid the foundation for ongoing partnerships, supporting electric racing battery initiatives, space program milestones, and corporate rebranding efforts.

Beyond the Xcelion launch, What Works Studio continued to partner with Saft on high-impact initiatives that broadened the company’s visibility across multiple sectors. We developed promotional materials for Saft’s electric racing batteries used in FIA Electric GT, ABB FIA Formula E, and FIM Enel MotoE competitions, helping the brand strengthen its presence within the global motorsports community.

We also created an animated digital timeline and accompanying print collateral to mark Saft’s fiftieth year of powering space missions, a milestone that resonated strongly with aerospace audiences. As Saft’s parent company moved through a corporate rebrand, we revised Xcelion assets and related marketing materials to ensure a unified visual identity across all touchpoints.
